Inside Passage Alaska Photo Workshop
Adventure, Wildlife & Photography on the Water — Limited to 6 Participants
Join us for an unforgettable 9-day/9-night photography expedition through the breathtaking Inside Passage of Southeast Alaska, one of the most wild and photogenic regions on Earth. From September 6th to 15th, we’ll explore remote fjords, pristine temperate rainforests, and glacier-carved coastlines during the golden shoulder season—when the light is soft, wildlife is active, and fall colors begin to emerge.
Our base for 8 full days will be a custom-built 43-foot motor catamaran, offering intimate access to areas unreachable by road or ferry. With a shallow draft and quiet motors, this vessel is designed to navigate remote inlets while keeping us close to wildlife—perfect for capturing fleeting moments without disturbing the scene. Our ship includes a research-grade hydrophone, enclosed cabin, bathroom, and snacks.
After days on the water, we’ll return to shore for cozy accommodations in handpicked local lodges and inns, giving you time to relax, recharge batteries (yours and your camera's), and connect with fellow photographers. We’ve balanced wilderness immersion with warm beds, hot showers, and hearty meals.
Whether you're an advanced hobbyist or seasoned pro, this small-group workshop (maximum 6 participants) is designed to elevate your photography with expert guidance and once-in-a-lifetime subject matter. You’ll leave with a portfolio full of powerful images—and stories to match.
